for some reasons
i haven't captured any pics of my bedroom
my room is seriously filled with rubbish now

in the earlier post i mentioned that we went to Mt Dandenong
purposely for the famous pies in Pie in the Sky
thanks again to luzi who drove me all the way while having back pain :(

mine is a bit special than normal, altho the pie on the soup tastes normal?
at least it's in the middle of that thick n creamy pumpkin soup (i supposed)
and i just love the mashed potato (^-^) satisfied~~~


didn't take any other pics except for these two pies i guess
but i would like to go again (not that restaurant) but just strolling around that place
just love the peaceful surrounding
full of green nature views

and here are some pics taken during lunch break in lab
JX loves coffee, and Jing loves the attempt to try new drinks n food
i forgot who suggested to go for a coffee during cold winter
sitting outside of that coffee shop, with a hot coffee... = life
hahahah
we walked for approximately 20 mins from Alfred Hospital to a cafe near South Yarra railway station


this is Jing, from Si Chuan, a visiting scientist in our lab


and this is JX, a medal winner mad singaporean scientist... hahaha


Jing was very happy with her love shaped latte, lol




and this cam-whoring guy took more than 10 shots of his own pics in 2-3 mins -.-


i did'nt prepare to take any pics due to my incredibly metal teeth look :s

once we were so keen to go hi-tea after dinner
Glen Waverly's gloria jeans and TAB are always the top options
simply sit there n kepo while having coffee
somehow one day both GJ n TAB were so full
so we went to Airstream
was a bit hungry that night
so i ordered smoked salmon salad to share with baby, as supper @.@"
i like the taste altho it's not so great
now feel so much want to have an avocado! geez

this is the main reception in Alfred Hospital
where i spent almost everyday there to do all the experiments
well, not in Alfred hospital, but in the Monash Uni Immunology Department lab


so, these are the pics i taken in lab
this square box is for cell culture use
i maintained all the cells for experiments in it

behind me is a hood for cell culture use also
to prevent contamination of cell cultures

i personally think it's so messy because some left their culture medium and things after use in it
and that really restricted my working areas loh hor!
very unconsiderable
i should blame them for my cells contamination!!!

but i claim that my desk could be the cleanest and tidiest desk among all in my lab liao

this year i had two birthday celebrations
1st was yum-cha with cell group members
too bad i didn't ask any pics from them
should have done this earlier...but hope i'm not too late...
can ask from them asap and see if i manage to get any uploaded here soon
and on my birthday, i purposely stayed away from lab
so basically i had a total free day :D
baby made me this birthday cake, very impressive
as i never decorated cakes b4

besides birthday cake, i requested a homemade dinner too
and this steam fish...took us almost an hour to finish it i think
keep taking in and out from the steaming pot
hahahaha
but it tasted great loh (*^‧^*)
can u believe that he cooks better than me? hahaha


another dish was 金银蛋 with my fav spinach
not too bad *thumbs up

last year didn't bring daddy mummy n jia hao to Puffing Billy
due to the packed schedule
and b4 that always wanted to go but did'nt have a proper plan
so my wish dragged until this year
and thank to luzi again
for wasting his precious time with me on this
can see the lousy skill of pics caption? hahaha
it was freaking cold
luckily i had my mom's handmade scarf... (O^~^O)


this is the main focus of the whole trip lo
its the oldest steam train in Melbourne?
i'm not too sure but i'm sure that regular passengers on this train would have all their clothes charcoal-coated
